Hello folks! I'm Fey, from Alabama. I have liked tea since I was little, when I would take our orange pekoe and make "hot tea" as opposed to sweet tea.
My guilty pleasure is milk and plenty of sugar! That, or my own pot of alishan oolong tea.
I have a zoo in my home-- no really. 2 guinea pigs, a ferret, 2 mated parrotlets, 2 finches, a tank of fish, and a husband.

Welcome from a pet husband.
I love tea and compete with four cats, six guinea pigs and a rabbit for attention. It's been worse.
Hopefully the mod squad are in a good mood today will let the milk and sugar confession slip by as if it wasn't even noticed

Welcome fey! Glad to see another SOUTHERNER here! Born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and I know all about the sweet tea.
Do not tell anybody but it seems the South is taking over TeaChat

Welcome Fey!
You will have some fun here...and over time you may even discover some teas that taste better without milk and sugar! When I got here I had to have my black teas sweetened (stevia worked for me), but the I got hold of some really nice black teas and the sweetener actually took away from the flavor of the tea. Now this has NOT happened for anyone else in my family, but it remains a possibility.
Have fun,
Dreamer
