Good TeaDay everyone and welcome to TeaDay. Please be sure to stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed beverages besides tea. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. I rarely turn our attention to our oft quiet host, Adagio. Today, I encourage you to take a glance, or a stare at our forum's newest subforum, created yesterday. It is aptly named TeaRetailer after Adagio's new project. Check it out: http://www.teachat.com/viewforum.php?f=55
I would also suggest that you take a look at the site created by Adagio. www.tearetailer.com This is the antithesis of what one might find in the corporate world of tea stores such as Teavana. We will have the unique opportunity to watch the progress of this endeavor.
So, today's topic, will you watch, participate, or not really pay much attention? Whatever your choice, please share with us. And remember, our host will surely not judge you as they maintain a policy of openess and transparency.
My goal of TeaDay today, is to simply call attention to this program and allow each of you to individually deal with it however you see fit.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

I will definitely watch and participate when and where I can. I think it is interesting and I applaud Adagio for including us in this undertaking. We understand who and what makes up the most sales, and we also know what we would love to see. In other words we have a lot of opinions!!

I will truly watch and participate. I have a personal interest as I am sure I will be visiting this location often if it meets my expectations. I am in Chicago so the prospect of this retail store being in my backyard is very exciting. I wish the best of luck and success.

I am intrigued by the current Adagio project and the level of open communication being relayed to anyone who wants to listen. I have long had aspirations of opening a tearoom/retailer one day, so sharing the model will be particularly interesting for me personally.
I have said it before, but will again, best of luck to all involved!
Began the TD with Yutaka Midori from O-Cha, always a fave of mine. SweeTea joined in while Wulong and and Pyrit stopped by for company.
Enjoy the TD everyone ...

My parents live in the Chicago area and we head down town at least twice a year, so depending on where the store is and the ease of access, I will hopefully have a chance to stop by and check it out at some point in time or another.
Though it sounds as though they are still looking for the actual location of the store so I will have to wait and see on its viability.

Will definitely be watching, and will participate as appropriate - you know, like, if precious chawan are in the offing.
Just quaffed a chawan of Wakamatsu-no-mukashi from Ippodo. Yummm.

I'll watch, for sure. I'll participate if I remember, you know? I'm a little bit scatterbrained sometimes.
Warming up with some houjicha this afternoon. Wintry weather came swiftly and suddenly. It was 70 degrees less than a week ago!

I recently had a cup of emperors seven treasures from the tea table. It was just decent.

I have so little time when I come home now, that it's hard for me to "catch up" on all the internet stuff. But I will do my best to at least watch what's going on. . . definitely should be interesting!
This evening, I finally got around to trying some of Nan-Jian's Zhai Zhi Po... an attempt at pu'erh using leaves from a different source. It's powerful!
