Greetings and welcome to a SnowDay TeaDay. Please stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed official vendor topics for TeaChat. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today is a SnowDay TeaDay, and though TeaDay and TeaChat does not close for snow, let's keep it simple today. Do you enjoy snow? Why or why not? Did you receive any snow in the pre winter blizzard of 2009?
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up!

We don't get enough of it for it to be a hassle so I love it. Bring it on! ...just none of that nasty ice storm crap.

I like and miss the snow around Christmas time only.
I Live in sunny central west coast Florida and there will be no snow.
It is a bit chilly this morning....drinking a nice hot cup of Yunnan Jig.

I like the white fluffy stuff. Unfortunately it's more like what Baku's got here too, a thin layer of snow which turns to ice almost immediately. Looks lovely but isn't too much fun for playing in , the kitten doesn't quite seem to know what to make of a white world.

haha, I guess I started to enjoy snow after I moved to New England. Before that, I lived in central NY for years. How could I enjoy snow then when it was routine to snow for whole weeks without a break
But I guess central NY has the most powerful snow ploughing system. So all the years with multiple feet overnight snow fall, we never had a single day with the university closed.

We had so much snow yesterday night that I had to go to work on foot (4 Km!). I haven't seen so much snow here in years. Sadly, in Venice, there was also high tide, so the snow did not last. But here on the mainland it's snow and ice, I hope tomorrow temperatures will increase.
It was Yutaka Midori in the morning, very energetic, just before a nice walk.

I enjoy looking at the snow but HATE driving in it. If it is warm enough by which I mean in the 30's I enjoy taking my daughter out to play in it. Otherwise, not a huge fan of the snow or winter. I am known to enjoy it more when the sun is out. I am a Vitamin D junkie and the grey of winter usually is to glum for me. However, I do get into the Christmas spirit a lot. Too bad we can't skip to Spring after the New Year.

I love snow and I miss many aspects of it. Especially at Christmas. But I don't really miss the freezing cold and scraping the windshield and the car getting stuck and sliding while driving. Although it doesn't snow here in Southern California in the lower elevations, we can drive to the snow resorts in the mountains, about 40 miles away. The real snow doesn't usually come till Jan or Feb with our rainy season.
But snow days in general - bring back happy memories. I remember as a kid listening to the radio for the local school closures. Woo-hoo!!!
This morning Saphir Himalyan in my cup.
Have a nice day everyone!

I love snow days, but since I live in south Ga I've only seen snow about 3 times. I guess the rarity makes it even more special for me.

I enjoy snow on Christmas Eve, and enjoy it even more if it starts to melt on December 26th!
We had a few inches of snow last weekend, followed by freezing rain during the week, but no snow right now. Given a choice I would rather drive in snow than ice, but who wouldn't?
The Pacific NW had tons of snow last year, the memories of that are enough to satisfy any craving for snow this winter.
No tea yet, but I am going to repeat the Ying Ming Yunnan I had yesterday.

I definitely enjoy the snow, though I enjoy it more in northern states where the municipalities know how to prepare the roads and plow, and the people know how to drive in the bad weather. Down here in southern Virginia, I'd love to see snow, but I wouldn't dare drive in it as the maniacs here are bad enough in beautiful weather.
We got a light dusting of snow last night -- maybe a few millimeters total. It was enough to have to scrape snow (and not just frost) off of the car. The day warmed up quickly, though, and the whiteness has quickly vanished.
I'm continuing with the 2006 cooked pu'erh that I started last night, and I'm going to break into a 2004 Langhe this afternoon. It's a great day for pu'erh!

After Snowpocalypse 2008, I don't care if we don't see snow for a verrrrrry looooooooong time.
Seriously, even the bus didn't run, and we had 5 days where there was no mail delivery. Right before Christmas. It was awful.
Going bowling this morning. I'm going to throw some tea in the general direction of my go-mug. See you all later.
