Good TeaDay everyone. Please stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Yesterday we discussed teagifts. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. More end of year business, review ... this past year have you either accidently or intentionally created new or ammended TeaTraditions? Please share with us.

I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

I am not sure if it can be called a "new tradition" yet because I started to do it more only in recent 2 months. I've started to do more casual brewing, and will continue to do more in future year. I would like to find out how casual my drinking can be and how many expensive teas can be casually brewed without feeling very much short changed. :D

Nahhh, not really. Unless you count my increasingly frequent use of Hagi in my tea brewing and drinking. I wouldn't call it quite a tradition yet, but certainly something new in this past year.

Finishing up Black Dragon Pearls from Teavana... surprisingly very very very similar to the pearls from Adagio. They taste like my mom's Jam Cake... sweet, dark, dried fruit/raisins/plums. But where is the cream cheese frosting? :D

Happy Sunday to all.

Sarah

Some DaYuLing for me this afternoon in a Hagi cup, getting down to the bottom, maybe one more day. Still delicious!

New traditions, likely yes, bigger cups on a regular basis. I used to use 3 ounce cups for almost everything, still use them, but most Japanese teas are enjoyed with much larger cups, 6-8 ounces or so. And most always Hagi. 8)

Began the TD with a trial brewing/tasting of O-Cha organic Fuushun. Next up, matcha with DW in a Cory Lum Chawan. Finishing with a tasting of Zencha Fuga LE.

A great TD.

Nope, I don't think I've started any new traditions this year...just loving my tea and wares.

Today's teas...before anyone else was up I brewed myself a cup of Neela. Then DH and I shared a pot of Ceylon Kenilworth (from specialteas...it is much better than the previous batch). There were, of course, second and third brews of each. Late in the afternoon I really enjoyed a nice bowl of matcha! I would love some tea now...Tulsi would be perfect, but I ran out :(

Looking forward to tomorrow's teas,
Dreamer
