New Year's Eve 2009 TeaDay. NYE Beverage?

by Chip » Dec 31st, '09, 02:14

Welcome to the last TeaDay of 2009. I hope you will spend some time with us and share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Yesterday we discussed TeaResolutions. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. What will be your beverage of choice this New Years Eve? Will tea be there, or maybe Champagne? And then, when the clock strikes midnight, what beverage will bring in the new year?

I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up!

Tea and tisanes as usual, along with champagne to round out the night. In my opinion, no holiday is truly complete without champagne.

Since I have to work today, I doubt I'll be awake. So none for me.

This morning same as yesterday, Camellia Sinensis Darjeeling Gopaldhara.

Have a nice day everyone!

Tea will not be part of the NYE celabration but I am drinking some for breakfast lunch and after midnight will try to sneak in another cup. Unfortunatly Im the only one I personally know who drinks much tea so I drink alone...I guess thats the story of the teaaholic :)

I am making chai lattes for myself and the three other people who are celebrating with me tonight. I am sure I will have other tea, as well.

At midnight I will have some nonalcoholic champagne... because I don't drink alcohol... while the rest have their alcoholic beverages.

This morning I will be making some black tea after breakfast, just not sure which one yet. I am leaning towards Adagio's Keemum Concerto.

We've got some beer on hand, and my room mate has several bottles of wine for the night, but I'm such a huge lightweight compared to everyone else, I'll be switching between alcohol and tea so I can keep up.

Our dog decided to circle our house barking at something repeatedly at about 2 a.m., so I doubt I'll be able to stay awake until midnight!

We are going to some friends' house, so I will drink whatever they offer, but probably soda or water.

Was running late this morning so have Keemun Rhapsody in my travel mug.

I seldom have any beverage with meals. After dinner, I guess, some left over tea from the day :D

Will have a "king of ben shan" after breakfast. And then some yan cha. :D

Fancy! I wish I had some. I may have asked you this before, but have you tried the tenkaichi? If so, how does the Ippoen compare?

Thanks,
Edk

Tea, water, possibly wine tonight, and either tisane or more tea.
Sorry to hear you're feeling sick GG, hope you feel better soon!
As my licensing exam gets nearer (end of Jan), I'm studying and grappling with my anxiety.
Sooo, I may be less present here for the next month, and will not be partying tonight.
Be safe everyone, party consciously.
