Happy TeaDay to all. Please stop in throughout the day and share what is in your cup.
Yesterday we discussed our personal fave TEA vendors. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Yesterday it was fave tea vendors, today we discuss a new year and new vendors, perhaps? Do you have a list of TEA vendors you want to try in 2010? Please share some details.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Friday TeaDay 1/08/10 New for 2010?
Yeah, probably 3-5 vendors I haven't bought from. Who? Not sure yet
Re: Friday TeaDay 1/08/10 New for 2010?
Yeah, I think I'd like to get a Tachi Masaki banko from Hojo.
I might also try some sencha from them.
Might also try some others.
Maybe get shincha from some new sources?
Cheers.
Teacup is empty right now, but not for long.
Hmmm, how about something white...

Definitely no new vendors for me. I am pretty set now and I have too much on hand anyway. I'll be picking up some spring oolongs from the best offerings of my current vendors and that is it.

Probably one or two new vendors for me, as I want to try some green teas, and some oolongs.
Will try one of my samples today; don't know which one yet.

I would say maybe 3-5 new vendors, particularly for Pu-Erh, possibly including...
Nada Cha
Dragon Tea House
Hou De
I'd also like to get some shincha from new vendors that I haven't tried before e.g. Ippodo, Dens.
O-Cha's Sae Midori to start my day, just finished the 4th steep, still bold and thick!

I am content with my current vendors, but if I try anyone new they will be Tea Masters or Tea Habitat.
Aged Xi Ping TGY from Jing this morning.

Yes, definately!
The topic yesterday helped me to find a few. So, thank you for that
I already ordered the green tea sampler from denstea. Can't wait to get it.
I'm not very content when it comes to tea right now. I need to find a good and strong irish breakfast tea (I drink mine with milk and sugar).
I also need to find a good oolong and a good darjeeling. I'm not asking to much, am I ? Just some basics. But the problem is my budget
I also have my eye on zhitea, strandtea and rishi.

Although I was perusing the Republic of Tea catalog the other day, I will probably still buy most of my tea from my local, little tea house.
I'm currently drinking that tea house's blend: "Sweet Sin: red tea with pomegranate and cinnamon."

A trustworthy Ceylon for me this morning.
As for new teas, I may try a new vendor or two, but I don't have any in particular in mind. I'm really trying to cut back on my budget anywhere I can, which means probably sticking to teas I know. Also, I bought more than intended this past year, so hopefully I can go through some of that before I go overboard on ordering... again...

Do I want to try new vendors? Well, is the pope catholic...?
I hope to try for the first time in 2010: Nadacha, TeaHabitat, East Teas, Ippodo, Jing Tea Shop, and Hojo... hopefully even a few more!

Right now, I fulfilled my ambition to try tea habitat myself. Your wallet and your concience will hate you (if you're not filthy rich), but while you're drinking, and depending on the dancong, and a while afterwards, you are pretty much in bliss.
Drinking the Mo Li Xiang right now. Fairly subtle, but really good. The Zhong Ping Lao Cong #1? Likeitalot, as Imen might say. That hui gan lodged itself deeeeeep into my chest and lasted with authority for hours. I woke up *this morning* with the dang taste in my mouth.
yeah, you getcher money's worth, if you have that much of it to spend on just one ounce of tea.
