I love tea, I know nothing about it, but upon joining this group I have learned an awful lot. I like strong black teas but usual drink what my students bring in. My tea ritual is very different from traditional practices and after reading a bit here probably illegal. The class tea is picked by vote its steeped at an unknown temp in a poorly made teapot of mine for as long as we can wait or till I remember we're making tea. Everyone gets a teabowl that is a second for one reason or another. We all enjoy it but I have a lot to bring back and make our tea experience better. Reading all the articles about others teawares and tea drinking practices has really given me more direction on making better teabowls and teapots for others. I am looking forward to getting responses from other members on the work I make and how to make it better. I will be testing adding photos in a bit

Hi Tim, glad to see you have joined the TeawareArtisans of TeaChat. Let me know if I can help you with anything, including posting photos.
We are all looking forward to seeing your works here!
I have found that everyone learns here, the members, other artisans, and ultimately you. While your works are ultimately "you," most of the TAs have learned quite a bit about teaware here and have been able to apply to their own individuality. Pretty cooool ...
And yeah, we can teach you a bit about tea as well.

Welcome, Tim See
I love this section of TeaChat, so fortunate to have it. I marveled at some of the porcelain vases I have just looked at on your website

Re: Tim See (Timseeclay)
well that one sent itself before I was done. I couldn't get the img thing up there to work and that photo is too big. but uploading it pops it onto the post. So I should be trimming them down to the size I read earlier. Shawn (Greenwood) was asking about adding photos and going through a photo site. I added a link between the Img brackets and it said photo size not determined.

Beautiful bowl, Tim!
Regarding the photo host posting. Either the photo size was too large or maybe there was a site problem. Also, sometimes new member seem to have more of a problem which may have nothing to do with the inexperience of the member.
Which photo host are you using? Most members use either photobucket or flickr.
Also, I do not recognize the img code in your post.

That bowl is GORGEOUS!!!!
BTW - You need to use the URL brackets if you are using a link. It won't work with the IMG brackets. Also, your file must have a common extension, or the loader doesn't like it. But the main reason, looks that the size is too large as you found out. It seems you are using Flickr, so you can choose the Medium size and it posts here just fine.
We definitely want to see more!!
Loved your videos and learning about bats!!
