SUPER Sunday TeaDay 2/07/10 Is today a SUPER TeaDay for you?

by Chip » Feb 7th, '10, 02:34

Welcome to a Super TeaDay. Please drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Be sure to check out what is new to TeaChat, FooDay, aka Food Day. If you are cooking or eating something you want to share ... or want to see what other TeaChatters are eating/cooking. Or just talk about food: http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12172

Yesterday we discussed ... small talk, the weather ... and tea. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Simple, will today be a SUPER TeaDay for you ... or is it a SUPER TeaDay for you? Please share some details with us.

Bonus question, will you be watching the Superbowl tonight? Two votes today! And I remembered to set the votes to 2 today.

I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

I might watch the super bowl.

First time drinking Houjicha Gold this morning. It reminds me a lot of genmaicha but a little lighter and without the rice. Also finishing off last nights anxi benshan oolong.

Big football fans here; and the Colts are our team, so we'll all be at younger son's house for food, fun, and football!! :D

Won't have as much tea as usual today; won't have any from 5 p.m. on, as I won't be home. But I plan to enjoy some cups before going. :)

I grew up 50 miles from Baltimore, the original home of the Colts. My very first recollection of pro ball was the Super Bowl win over Dallas many bowls ago. I have never been able to not like the Colts even when the owner moved the tea to Indy ... I literally tried very hard to try and like other teas including the team who is now 50 miles from where I have long since lived, the Eagles. Just could not bail on the Colts. I also now like the newer Baltimore team, the Ravens, but when they play head to head, it is the Colts!!!

So, I am hoping for a SUPER TD on a special SUPERBOWL Sunday!

Wowza... Lots of Colts love on the boards this morning!!! I can understand that, though. If it were any other team for the NFC I would be cheering on Manning, the home town boy.

At Any Rate....

Having people over to watch the Super Bowl, should be fun times.

Tea today: started out with White Symphony, heating up water now for some Wuyi.

Good tea day.
Just hangin' at home by my lonesome - sweety's at a workshop.
Gonna watch the SB, but don't follow football, don't really care who wins.
Chip - you've got me mixing teas now and then, and after my morning matcha, I mixed gokujo and saemidori. Mmmmm - good.

3rd infusion of the mix in my cup now.

Nice shot, Seeker, thanks for bringing color to our TD!

So, a good TD, only 2 teas, both Sencha with Mrs. Chip. First Yutaka Midori from O-Cha. Then a tasting of Fuga LE from Zencha!

Watching a tough fought Superbowl ... may the better team win, which I can only hope will be the team in BLUE!

Sorry, can't get very excited about a football game. My wife is watching the conclusion of the latest "Emma" on PBS as I type. (Can't get very excited about that either.) Now tea, that's another story. Trying to decide what to put in the last cup of the day--some nice Imperial Tie Guan Yin a few hours ago.
