I like a strong tea. Does Assam Tea fit the bill? How does Assam Tea compare to Lapsang Souchong?

First of all, welcome to TeaChat!
If you like blacks, both of those are generally pretty strong. Lapsang is more of a smokey strong while Assam is a sort of malty strong.
