This is probably subjective and varies from vendor to vendor...but every year or so a particular vintage appreciates in value. Obviously how much it appreciates (or perhaps depreciates) depends on collector value/worth/etc. But is there a particular time when vendors bump the price of last year's stuff? Although I'm talking more about western-oriented vendors, I'm wondering when the vendors in China do this, since their price bumps translate to us here.
Just wondering I should buy sooner than later, especially since I'm still sampling around.

Re: Price Hikes?
Many of the wholesale suppliers and tea factory direct distributors will raise prices on existing stock just before or after Chinese New Year. Price increase depends on which teas, age, current stock levels, etc.
