yup, the remaining ones you see available are others that had been made together with the ones i ordered when i experimented with the clay last year.. totally fell in love with it, the weight, density and feel is just right, heightens tea aromatics without robbing the body, thin walls, excellent handling.. what else could i ask for but attempt to convince Toru to put an order to hokujo to fulfil my size requests..?
had hoped that he could do 100ml-150ml, but it seems that the smallest one he had made so far is 160ml (which i own).. and i also got a 200ml mogake~. a year's wait is totally worth it most hokujo pots on the market are much larger.
Alex wrote: Damn you and that picture. Had to order one of the smaller ones. Love Hokujos work but rarely see direct filter sub 200ml pots from him. If you prompted the order from artistic Nippon then we'll done that man!
For those also tempted let me give a gentle push
-very thin walled
-Hokujo is a big tea drinker and it shows in his work
-fit and finish is as good as it gets.
-for me the pots are aesthetically the best in Japan.
-and lastly the opertunity to get a small size rarely comes up.
Thanks kyarazen
Some more info about the clay.
