Here are two of mine: one flat style from Jinshu and another from Hironobu.

Very nice Kyusu Lecorbus and Victoria. Thank you both for sharing.

Bizen Yohen Kyusu revisited. A bit clearer this time.

I've probably posted this before elsewhere, but it is my only Kyusu these days and seems like fair game.

Pot is by Shimizu Genji and I couldn't be more pleased. I've been infected with a Hokujo bug ever since Alex was here.

Very nice everyone!

Mrs Woozl better git that Etsy shop open before you run out of shelf space.
We need Woozlware!!!

Ahh that's better!

I'm hoping someone around here might be able to give me a little info about this kyusu. I found it at a thrift shop (for $0.75!). I don't think it's particularly old, but it had been well used--very heavy tea staining on the interior and a lot of dried leaf clogging the filter. I've cleaned it up a bit, but haven't come to any conclusions. The workmanship is a bit rough--the red surface seems almost painted on and a bit crude and there are fingerprints in the surface of the pot, but the pour is smooth and the workmanship seems pretty solid.
Any ideas?

Looks like a Tokoname kyusu to me. And, a very handy size. I'll give you a dollar for it! :D Good find. Strange that a seller would leave old leaves in the pot. I've seen that here in Thailand a few times but I suspect the seller was trying to make a new pot seem old. Clean it, boil it, and, enjoy it.

Great kyusu-s Brandon, Abracadaver, and Sepassion! Thank you for sharing!

Kool Woozl, it is quite a challenge to go from cup to kyusu I would imagine, a larger skillz set! Keep up the progress, efforts Mrs. Woozl. Interesting glaze woork!!!

I see gyokko, isn't it awesome?! I love it when an inexpensive pot is so functional and such good quality. :)
