Fantastic, is that your first ink? Who designed it? How long in the chair? (Inquiring minds want to know... I have a plan on the board for my 3rd and 4th  )

Thanks guys. Yes it's my first. It was designed and inked by Erik Rieth of Seventh Son Tattoo, in San Francisco. I know you're not in the area, but I'd still recommend him to anyone who makes it down here occasionally, he's a really cool guy and does fantastic work. It took... hmm, a little under 10 hours?

What's your plan, Geekgirl? Heh, I'd love another one but between cost and not really having any great ideas I don't think it would be a great idea quite yet...

I want to get some soaring/circling ravens, line work and black ink only (I've got a couple of bright dogwood branches on my right calf.) Left delt., probably 9 -13 or so, smallish - each about 3/4" - 1" wingspan in silhouette.

My very next one will probably be a tiny goat (long story, personal significance.) I want to draw that one myself, but I'm not a very good artist. LOL!

And yeah, I hear ya on the expense. My first two were about $600 combined. Probably cover about 3/4 of the surface area of your tatt and I'm in a smaller market, likely less expensive here.

You're brave to go that scale for your first. :) WTG!
