Re: Saturday TeaDay 3/27/10 March Madenning?
1. I kinda blew my school for this year.
2. In the next 3 months I'm gonna move 2 times.
3. No money.
Etc etc. I've maintained I quite positive attitude despite all.
Snow Dragon... I really hope I'd have the money to buy even some spring teas, but we'll see.

Spring Cleaning and Spring Training (baseball).
Had some Adagio Tangerine black tea earlier. Not a favorite hot but I hope it'll be decent as iced tea.

No March tea madness. I am only getting three or four types of shincha this year, and I have stock enough of Japanese green to last through June and of yancha and dancong to last into fall. My next tea planning session will be in June-July.
My March madness will be planning for two secretive marsh bird surveys on the South Coast and planning my volunteer schedule for the next year.
Shui Jin Gui with breakfast this morning.

Other madness! So much madness!
With the comming of spring brings the busiest and best time of year for me. Gardening and bonsai work are at the highest level of attention at this time of year with planting and repotting/prunning. Spring session in college is beginning. Im anxious to get out camping/backpacking as soon as I get a free weekend and of course you can't forget the new tea harvest! Im sure theres some more I've forgotten but I think thats enough, my head's already spinning.

Pretty much every month I'm in school means madness due to exams... Such is the life of a physics major!
I just have to hold out for another month and a half, heh.
Pu-erh with magnolia right now, to be followed by some Earl Grey later and maybe a green of some description tonight?

March Madness in our house means "NCAA." The University of Tennessee Vols made it to the "Elite Eight" and my husband's blood runs orange, as hubby got masters and doctorate there and both sons, one grandson, one DIL all graduated from there. I read, surf the net, visit TeaChat, drink tea, etc. while he watches!!!!

I have heard the term relating to Basketball,
but I don't follow basketball.
In my cup this morning Yuunan Black - Mao Feng - Silk Road Teas
Just opened this one this morning. I like it a lot, it is spicy and sweet,
with the lightest hint of smokiness.
Edit to add:
Angles spring training. Used to go to the games when they played in Palm Springs. I miss those days.

+1 I don't understand how people can sit in front of the tube watching guys chasing a ball around for hours.Victoria wrote:I have heard the term relating to Basketball,

March Madness is planning which shincha to order in the next couple of months!

'Other' for me. My March Madness is trying to get my daughter's room makeover done before I go back to work on Monday! In fact, I'm headed to Home Depot for more paint! No time for tea.

You must still be mad at me for the cross-dressing joke? Was only kidding!Victoria wrote:Oops did I negate your +1 ?

Yea, my roomate's upset by that game.. she had Ohio State in the finals (partially because of me, I'm sure - my mother went there, plus growing up 20 mins from OSU's campus ingrains a little bit of Buckeye pride regardless of sport). I don't normally pay attention to it, but did watch the Duke game last night with my roomate and a sorority sister; the significant others went upstairs to talk about computer games.artmom wrote:March Madness in our house means "NCAA." Late start to the day. Orange sencha with lunch, while watching Batman (Michael Keaton, not the newer ones, though the new ones are good). Now...thinking about watching Lawrence Olivier in Othello while sipping on some oolong. Nice, mostly relaxing day.

March madness is mostly School stuff now and probably will be for some time, I basically have 5 more weeks until graduation and I get my bachelors degree, so trying to finish up stuff like my senior honors thesis, so needless to say, A lot of Tea has been consumed to keep me going.
