by Chip » Mar 31st, '10, 00:41

Greetings and salutations TeaChatters. Please drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Yesterday we discussed "substitution principle" ... or not. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. It's my TeaPartay and I'll drink GREEN if I want to ... will you be drinking GREEN with me? Please be sure to share!

This time last year, I would have declined to join the green tea partying. But then I had some revelatory experiences with sencha, and gyokuro, and dragon well, and now I am drinking green as much or more as puerh.

So I will certainly join in with some green tea for this teaday. It's a pretty rare tea day that doesn't include green tea, or at least a very green oolong or green-looking white tea.

Actually, Tuesday's teaDay was one of those odd greenless teaDays, with just one pot of mellow sheng puerh for the whole day. Shocking. But tomorrow will be greener.

I suppose I could try to fit some green into my TeaDay today... *sigh* what a chore...

But seriously, any excuse for tea sounds fine to me! Will likely start with some oolong, but I'm already anticipating Fukamushi when I get home!

Happy Birthday Chip!

I hope I can find some Sencha to toast, I may just need to settle for Gyo and or Matcha.

Happy birthday, Chip!

No green tea just yet-- I need a good kick to get moving today so I'm starting out with some really strong pu-erh with chrysanthemum. I'll definitely have one or more cups of green tea later, though!
