Tea identification

by fencerdenoctum » Apr 12th, '10, 12:18

I received a tin of Taiwanese oolong as a gift from a host family I work with. The tin is gorgeous and double lidded, and the tea inside was in a foil vacuum seal bag. It had this label on it.

However, I can't read it, so I have no idea what it is! It's roasty and delicious, so knowing exactly what it is would be nice. From the looks of it, it appears to be roasty TKY in my opinion.

Any ideas?

The label doesn't say much, it only says aged tea.
And the tiny red words on the left says top grade.

"chen nian lao cha" = "aged old tea". "Lao cha" in Taiwan usually refers to aged oolong.

I can only identify it if you send the entire canister to me immediately. I will provide this service at no charge, but it may be a while before I get the canister back to you.
