Welcome everyone to the English AKA Western TEAPOT Extravaganza. Even if English TeaWare is not your thang, this homage is long overdue ... beside fans of these TeaPots have longggg been patient with us and our Kyusu, Yixing, Gaiwans, etc.
So if you care to, please share photos of your English/Western style TEAPOTS. There will be GCs for participants who post photos of their English TeaPots.
While you are here, be sure to share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Friday we discussed our thoughts on white teas. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Saturday's and Sunday's TeaPoll and discussion topic. The theme is English TeaPots, so do you own any, do you use them ... and be sure to share how you came to own them.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone, bottoms up.

OK, I guess everyone slept in today. I will get things started.
A special edition Wedgwood 1953 coronation commemorative. I could have had a bunch of Wedgwood when my parents had to downsize but let them slip through my fingers. Oh well. This one seemed to be the most special and I snatched it up.
This was
never used in its 57 years.

It is BIG, I am guessing it would hold well over a quart?

Yes, I own them, I use them, and I love them---but none of them are worth as much as your lovely coronation teapot.

Mine won't be photographed as well as yours either!!! In fact, if the sun doesn't come out, they'll be shot using a flash.
I'll be back later with pics. I'm having a cup of Black Pearl tea right now.

That's a beautiful Wedgwood Chip!
I'll start my posting with this figural pot, that is more form than function:
And then speaking of parents - a 50th Anniversary Staffordshire pot that also was never used:

No English teapots here. Just my IngenuiTEA and an inexpensive Kyusu for my greens. Some nice ones posted so far!
On my fifth steep of Maestro Ali Shan today.

Thanks for posting photos Victoria. Those are quite unique.
Looking forward to your photos ArtMom, and anyone else as well!
Began the TD with ... yeah Mystery Sencha from O-Cha. I found the name, it was one offered for only a short time. SweeTea joined in while Gandalf and Lili visited the TeaTable this morning.

How are you liking it? I may brew some of this shortly.

+1 on the pots V!
artmom, looking forward to your pictures!!!
I also really enjoyed the Ali Shan from the Maestro Collection, IMHO, much better than their regular selection.

Ahh no teapots here (I'm still brewing with a mesh filter), but these are nice photos!
Well, technically I do have a teapot that I made in an art class years ago, but.. um... we don't talk about that

It will just stay in the attic.

Currently drinking some AliShan from the Maestro collection and working on some more photos. Yesterday I only got to two teapots, hopefully I will be able to do more this afternoon.

I just have a big "yixing" with a damaged lid and a little glass pot that isn´t very photogenic xD
I´d like a pretty english pot or two, they´d be great for serving black tea to guests who aren´t into the whole little cup of tea brewed strong thing and for display...
not a priority though...next teaware for me ish a gaiwan ^.^

I've got a plain white pot I don't use much because it's too big for just me.
Taking a break from cleaning with some now-cold Oolong #8. So tired.

I have 2:
My favorite to look at, nice for tea that really has to expand since it has no filter (but I do end up having to use an external strainer with it, which I totally don't mind), and I'll occasionally use for water if I'm using a gaiwan:

The more practical one for many things, including some smaller leaf teas, as it has a removable mesh filter - I highly recommend this one for everyday use, as it's not likely to get banged up if it accidentally hits the side of a sink or what have you:

The last of my snowbud this morning/early afternoon. Water right now while I contemplate baking bread this afternoon. Had no motivation, so I ate a late lunch... might share details on FooDay if something comes of this craving for homemade goodies.
