Good TeaDay everyone. Welcome to another TeaDay, but is it different than every other? I wonder.

Here is hoping that you will stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed Fave beverages. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Spring has sprung, and we are well into 2010. So, how much would you guesstimate your TeaBudget will be this year, or how much will you spend. Be prepared to share with your TeaHolic TeaChat friends.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

It's going to be a rather large total this year. I've upgraded my electric kettle, ordered my first TC artisan-made cups, gotten a shipment of teaware (but not tea) directly from Japan, and have just started to work a few days a month in a new office, which obviously needs a bit of new teaware, and some more tea.
I have semi-officially sworn off matcha for the moment, and have enough tea to keep me going for about three years, but still found myself going back to my local shop to pick up some more of a special white tea this past weekend.
My name is Diane, and I'm a tea-aholic.
Wednesday drank breakfast sheng from a new kyusu, then Yunnan Mao Feng from Norbu with afternoon meeting & clinic, and then have been working on a sample of a loose sheng mao cha from norbu for a tasting--quite lovely.

Considering I've already spend about $70, I'm hoping somewhere around $200, maybe $250. Here's to hoping I can stick to that!!
Think I'll finish off the Yunnan Noir this morning.

Have no idea and don't want to think about it. Voted +$300 but I'm sure it would be much more than that. Not including tea ware extravagances.

Like Cyn, I really don't want to think about it. I have a lot of tea on hand but I still will be buying Spring Oolongs and FF Darjeeling. I guess I will say over $600, at $50 a month, that is probably conservative.
In my cup this morning - almost to the end of my Darjeeling Oolong from last year from Camellia Sinensis. I reeeeealy hope they restock this.

Happy Earth Day! As for my budget for sure more than $1,500 I have already spent about $200 this week just buying the Maestro Collections and 6 cases of Green Anteadote because of the sale and that's just at Adagio. However, Adagio is where most of my budget goes.

TEA ONLY -- based on what I've already spent this year, I'll be close to $400 -- hopefully, not to go over it!
TEAWARE -- based on what I've already spent this year, heaven only knows!!!
No tea yet this morning; I'll share later.

My tea budget should be pretty much the same than last years: around 100€ per month which makes roughly 1600$ for the whole year.
Kanro gyokuro this evening.

Forgot to say Happy Earth Day and to remind everyone to plant your tea seed!

No purchase necessary, normal shipping charges apply when the tea is ready.
Woo hoo!

Oh crap. I picked $200+ because I figured I'd stay under $300, (since I won't be making my first foray of the year to Seattle until MAY.) Except I forgot about all the iced tea I buy.

We have Whole Foods and New Seasons right by our workplaces, and they both stock Ito-En and a couple other good brands.
edited because I didn't know you could switch your vote. Heh. $500+

Gut response was "more then $300" in an instant........ but that should tell me it is certainly more than THAT! Which means that I really don't want to know.
best,

Just for tea, definitely less than $100. I've already spend around $50, but I have somewhere around 2 kilos of tea to use up before I buy anything new.

I think I averaged around $30/month last year, and I expect I'll be around the same this year, too.
Woke up late, haven't had my first cup of tea yet. Probably start something easy like genmaicha.
