Adagio Teas Masters Collection

by Victoria » May 7th, '10, 19:01

In cased you missed it, Adagio released for sale today the previously introduced "Maestro Collection" tea series as the Masters Collection.

Personally I prefer the "Maestro" name in keeping with Adagio's musical theme, but then I guess it is all semantics.

Whatever they call it, the oolong collection is just outstanding. I would encourage oolong lovers to at least try the sampler and judge for yourself. The real stand out is the Fujian Ti Kuan Yin. A very green TKY with a smooth buttery, full mouth feel and a delicate floral aroma.

I really loved the Ali Shan too and plan to stock up on both as well as the Jasmine Pearls. The Pouchong, I need to tweak brewing parameters a bit. Still deciding on this one. But over all I am pretty impressed.

BTW, the three greener oolong are in the OTTI 3, Master of the Oolong! There is still some room if anyone is interested. It is a great way to check some of them out along with fellow TCers. http://www.teachat.com/viewforum.php?f=66

Adagio is kicking it up a notch with this Masters Collection! Can't wait to see some of the greens!!!
