I just got 2 7532 (701) from a seller and after closer inspection, i can see the wrappings are slighly different. One is thicker, waxier, whiter crunchier, the other one is like softer, you see the cake easier through the wrapping... They both look genuine with all the stamps... The differences are by not much... if i didn't get the 2 cakes at the same times i wouldn't have noticed this.
I am just wondering if this happened to anyone here? The only difference at the back of both cakes is one is made on 2007/01/29 and the other one 2007/01/27. All the other numbers are the same.

Last 2. They don't smell exactly the same aswell... The seller told me he got from 2 different sources, so maybe how each one was stored affected the smell.

I'm no wrapper-ologist, but have you tasted these two side by side yet? If you don't want to damage the cake it seems like there's enough flaked off to brew without having to pry a piece off the cake.

The leaves themselves look remarkably similar as they're compressed into the cakes.

The way the words show on the back of the wrapper looks correct and the leaves do look similar. Are there numbers going up and down the sides of the nei fei (inner ticket) on both? I couldn't make it out on the pictures. Also is there a narrow mylar ribbon on the nei fei with holographic images? If yes on both of those questions then they are more than likely fine.
