Glass. I can use it for everything.
This particular cup is nice and wide so that I get a face full of aroma when I tip back to drink

Thank you for the travel mug option! As I'm at work, it's all I have.

I'm holding a chinese 45ml porcelain cup, just the perfect size. That's the only cup I'm going to use today.

Good morning, TeaDay.

Here is my breakfast cup, holds 50-60ml to the brim. Good for puerh, like this morning. It is both Asian and porcelain.

Currently (10:00 AM Eastern USA) it is an American style mug I made in 2009, made of clay from Shigaraki, thrown and assembled at Kanayama, green-ware once fired for 3 days in a wood kiln that I designed and built at Kanayama back in 2006, using a youhen charcoal finishing process practiced in the town of Bizen.

Began the TD with a shiro (white straw ash glaze) super oni Hagi wan by Shibuya Deishi. This was TC Hagi SO #7.
In the cup, initial tasting of Asamushi Kinari by MaikoTea. SweeTea was front and center for the tasting while Lili and Kati visited the TeaTable this morning.

Thank you very much!
I just voted for the style of cups I use regularly, which would be Chinese Porcelain, Gongfu, Hagi, and Chawan.
I can not really think of the last time I used a English style or even Western style mug for tea!

I used a mug this morning-- I'm staying at my father's apartment for a couple days and all of my cups are being shipped to my mother's house. It was a nice mug, though; it had a cat motif.
Pu-erh with magnolia petals this morning. Veeeeery perfumey.
(I haven't had it in a while, and that always surprises me if I haven't had it in a while.)

Around noontime, Eastern USA time.
Now using a wood fired stoneware yunomi by Matsuzaki Ken (Mashiko), with white slip, iron brushwork, and Oribe glaze.
Sencha, of course.
best,
...........john
PS: Had to vote "other". Chip you missed non-porcealin yunomi as a choice.

Mug - it's a very pretty mug, and one I really enjoy using. It's holding some Fujian which is cooling a bit while I eat lunch. Nothing exciting there, trying not to eat too much so I can eat again at about 3:30-4pm because I have to be at work at 4:30! Maybe since I'm getting there earlier this time, I'll actually be able to have some tea at work...
