Happy Memorial Day
To all those celebrating!
Greetings and welcome everyone to TeaDay. All are welcome, to share what is in your cup throughout the day ... and to see what everyone else is sipping.
Yesterday we discussed the worst tea of the month. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic is naturally what was your best tea this past month ... or your fave tea for May? Please share some details.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

This month, it was Yunnan black tea, closely followed by sencha with rose petals and the ever-present pu-erh.
I'm actually drinking Yunnan black tea right now!

This is month the best tea I had was the golden lily oolong from Naivetea. It was the milkiest oolong I've had so far and it was delicious, $300 per pound delicious.

I had a great mao feng experience earlier this month.
It's hot today. Currently sipping some 'dynamite' iced assam because I'm trying to sound like Guy Fieri.
Happy Memorial Day!

This is easy, Japanese>green>sencha>Yutaka Midori Kaoru Supreme LE/O-Cha>BANGIN'.
And ... began the TD with the same! SweeTea was front and center for a fair share while Pyrit and Shincha stopped by the TeaTable for a visit.

No hesitation today. The best tea I had in May was the White Rose Tea that Virginia shared with me. An absolutely amazing, lovely tea -- flavor, fragrance, and lingering taste.
Memorial Day is a special day for my family. Husbands, both sons, both DILs, are veterans. Also, one of my BILs. We get together on Memorial Day and remember the reason we can get together wherever and whenever we wish to, honoring those who made it possible by their sacrifice.

How do you brew it? I tried 2g to ~4oz water for 45 seconds at differing temps, but I can never get the good flavor I remember from regular YM.Chip wrote:This is easy, Japanese>green>sencha>Yutaka Midori Kaoru Supreme LE/O-Cha>BANGIN'.

Green tea, and I think my favorite for the month was the Kabusecha I finished right at the start of May.
Starting today with YM LE, then probably Chiran shincha later.

Hmm... probably Snowbud. I've had a lot of Yunnan Noir (mostly in the mornings at work), but Snowbud's been my favorite.
Today: some lightly honeyed CranApple - I find it enhances the flavor of this one instead of adding something undesirable.

I have not been able to get enough of the Kirameki Asamushi from O-cha!
That has definitely been my favorite tea, though I am not sure about the best.
