Lu An Gua Pian

I just had for the first time a Lu An Gua Pian green tea 2010 and it was a wonderful experience. What a beautiful nutty aroma and flavor. Just a few leaves were good for 6 infusions in a 120 ml tea pot. Got it from Teaspring and I think for this quality the price of $9.5/50 g is a good buy. :D

This is a top 4 Chinese green tea for me, though I have not had it for a few years! I loved the leaves as well. Got it from TeaSpring as well.

Thank you for reminding me of this lovely green. I need to get it soon.

Last year I tried Dragon teahouses top LGP, Jingteashops LGP, Teasprings Cha Wang LGP, all were exceptionally good, I tried brewing it many ways, it has an aftertaste like a good Tie Guan Yin, but it also has the freshness of a green tea, I tried the 3 famous Anhui green teas from these vendors, Tai Ping Hou Kui and Huang Shan Mao Feng, these 3 teas were unique in their own way.
