Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Curious question. Years ago before your TeaJourney really took off, did you ever remotely imagine you would be where you are today in the midst of a the world of tea ... and TeaChat?

OK, I am looking forward to seeing you here on TeaDay. Bottoms up.

Never ever thought I would be this interested in learning about tea and spending so much money on tea and teaware.

Going to bed, so no tea yet on this Thursday.

I definitely had no idea that I would be drinking so much tea, or spending so much money on it, either!!! I probably would have thought of my tea habits as my family thinks of them now. That is: crazy!

Staying up late with some iced Mugicha from the Den's sampler. Very interesting flavor, quite refreshing.

I did not imagine it, no. But if someone would have told me it was going to happen, I would have believed it, yes. The same thing sort of happened here that happened on my perfume board. So yeah, I could believe it would happen.

No way. Tea wasn't really a part of my world until a few years ago.

Having some oolong today. Flowery and nice.

It doesn't seem too far off for me to get into tea. I've always been interested in different things to drink, though I don't drink alcohol so that sort of limited my beverage experience. Imagine my joy when I discovered an endless world of variety in tea!

Irish breakfast this morning. I love the mornings after I get a new order of tea in.

nickE: I recently tried iced Mugicha too-- it really is interesting stuff.

Not really.

There was a period of time back in high school that I discovered I really liked tea and drank way more "Awake" from Tazo than I think I ever could now. But the idea that I'd spend a good chunk of money on tea and teaware, end up posting in forums online about tea and landing in a tea shop working with a wall of tea...the thought never crossed my mind.

I'm quite happy that's how things turned out though.

ETA - it's too early in the morning to spell correctly

I never really thought about it... I've always liked tea of some description, so I didn't really notice that my tastes were developing and broadening until my friends were jokingly calling me the "queen of tea" in our dorm building. ^.^

Rose congou this morning. If skirt-making and errands don't eat up too much of my time, I'm going to be drinking a lot of tea today (it's rather cold and rainy here).

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Chip ...

I coulda shoulda woulda ... based on how I tend to be about things. Interests in non-mainstream and being rather passionate (you might say eccentric and/or obsessive) about it at the same time. But I did not see it coming nor expect it. And I certainly did not expect to be on an internet tea forum ... or two ...

Began the TD with Shincha Fukamushi from Hibiki-an. Hoping for a great TD!

Yeah, I believe so for the most part -- the Tea part anyway. :) However, as my business career began with Prudential when the computers there were twice the size of my house, I never dreamed of such a thing as a personal computer OR the Internet!!!

Adagio's Black Pearl's this morning, w/a pinch of MF Marco Polo dropped in for the aroma. Think I'll be trying Rishi's White Silver Needle this afternoon.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY, JO!

I never imagined that I would be where I am today concerning tea. I have been drinking what some would concider 'good' tea (premium bags) for quite some years, but that was always a few times a week thing. I am so glad that I randomly found a post about loose leaf tea last year to get me started!

Started today with a sample of nilgiri from Uptons, then some YM shincha! Should get the Adagio shincha sample tonight -that will be interesting to try!
