Welcome everyone to another edition of TeaDay. Shall we brew and share what is in our cups throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed, "How quickly or easily do you give up on a tea you do not like...at least initially?" You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic!
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. We are approaching "mid terms" with mid year close at hand. So, grade your current teas ... in general. Forget about the worst ONE that is just bugging you right now. But in general, how are your teas these days? Please explain.
As always, I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone! Bottoms up, refill, repeat many times.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 6/16/10, Mid Terms, grade your teas overall
Finishing off the day with the remains of a Rasberry Lychee Black tea.
Overall I would say I have some really good teas. They almost all get As I just have some teas that were teas I was experimenting by trying that I'm not sure how much I like them I'd give two of them Bs and one a C.

A. There is evidently some room for improvement but I am quite satisfied with my teas.

Mostly As, some A+, a few Bs, and a few Cs; Fs have been fed to the worms already. Some Cs will go that way eventually too.
It also gets tricky because some As when brewed gongfu are not As when brewed for the thermos, and I keep some otherwise Bs around for their A performance in that particular role.

B average or above - lots of good stuff and more on the way!

A few B+ and some Bs and Cs.
Started the day with Dong Ding from Taiwan. Now I'm sipping on some nice 2005 Sheng.
Have a good tea-day

Mostly B's, a couple C's, a couple A's. Hopefully now that I know more about my taste in oolongs, next time I order will be more A's!
No tea yet, on the way out the door. Probably MF Marco Polo though, it just sounds right today.

I love almost all of my teas-- I think I've become a lot better at figuring out what I like and don't like, while being more sensible about buying quantities of tea which I'm trying for the first time. So the vast majority are "A"s, with two or three "B"s.
Pu-erh in my cup this morning. Definitely one of the "A"s.

Honoyama Shincha this morning from Yuuki-Cha, A.

Overall I would give my teas a B. Some are very good, some are ok, most are above average.
Started the day with some Sencha Fuka-Midori. I think I've finally figured this tea out, as today it was excellent.
Drinking some iced assam right now, not bad. Thinking of some shupu later.

Overall I'd rate mine as B+, with some As and some B-s. I'm working through my stash to make room for the spring teas already in the mail from China and Taiwan. It's a futile effort though: by the time I'm done I'll be buying Autumn teas

Based on teas that I have sought out and obtained, certainly an A average. If I include teas sent as samples that I sort of lack enthusiasm about, I would say a B average ... but I am going with A.
I agree that there is still room for improvement and I would not want to ever grow complacent, nor my vendors ... that is a recipe for disaster.
Began the TD with a Sae Midori organic that was verrry good. I don't think I could have brewed it any better ... so I also give myself an A for brewing.
SweeTea, Shincha, and the Pyrit visited the TeaTable today.

For the teas that I have ordered in larger than sample sizes, I give them A. For samples,
they range from A to F. Probably my fault in brewing for the D & Fs!
Speaking of samples, I tried Lochan's Premium CTC - Assam - 1st Flush 2010 yesterday and really like the pleasing balance of the tea. Hadn't had a CTC before and found it an interesting process.
