Well, I've been experimenting with the pu-erhs that I've ordered, so far I've steeped everything gongfu in my new yixing although I've heard that alot of people use a gaiwan when steeping pu.
Well anyway... I've determined that I like the shu over the sheng although I don't have an extensive amount of experience in either, so maybe that will change over time?

Definitely. I'd be careful not to buy too much shu as you start out, because now I have an excess of nice but not entirely terrific pu that gets passed over for the more interesting shengs that I'm loving more and more.

That sounds like very good advice... that has happened to me in the past with other teas.

My last order, I bought 3 RAW and 4 RIPE puerh.
I hadn't been paying much attention to the ratio.
I need to cut back on the Ripe, With the RAW it doesn't matter
I've got 20 years to drink it.

I'm glad I took the advice of people on this forum, because now that I've been drinking pu-erh for a little while I def. prefer aged sheng over shu.
