Hi,
I'm from India and glad to be here. I love drinking tea daily. I have few questions in my mind. Does the green tea really helps in reducing weight?
Thank you
Re: New to tea chat
Welcome!
You should know there is no magic cure for weight loss. If you substitute tea for snacks and begin an exercise routine, then yes, it may help. But anyway it is oolong, not green that all the hype is about.
Tea is a healthy alternative to soda and other sugary drinks. I believe it can improve your overall health. So if you want to learn about it for that reason you will be headed in a better direction.
But it is no magic cure for anything. And if you don't love it, you won't continue with it.

Welcome! Nice to have you with us!
Being from India you're probably eating a healthier diet then most Americans. (high in vegetable protein and low in animal protein)
Actually water has every thing you need and nothing you don't.
Tea just adds flavor to the water.
Stay away from sugar, Bad.

You wouldn't know of any Indian web sites where I could
buy a six pack of "Cow Pee Tea health drink" would you? My primary care Dr. is Indian, and he refuses to hear any of my theories on my health.
I would like to give him the Pee Tea six pack.

Re: New to tea chat
Everyone keeps saying to drink Oolong tea to lose weight. It is supposed to be very effective with aiding weight loss. It is apparently twice as effective as regular Green Tea.

If oolong tea is such a great weight loss device, I'm surprised Victoria hasn't disappeared.
