Before you know it, another TeaDay is here! Please visit this TeaDay and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed or fave teas for the month of June. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. We are at the virtual midpoint of 2010, time for some check-ups. Today's check-up ... have your teas improved, stayed about the same, regressed over the first half of the year? Please share of course.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone, bottoms up.

Re: Thursday TeaDay 7/1/10 Mid year exams.
Has been an easy one for me. I am not into loose tea for this long and that is why the improvement is extraordinaire
Woke up with a good cup of matcha in mind. - And got it
At work only coffee so far.

I am at about the same level except for some new and very good Chinese black teas.
Being the first of the month I had Yin Jun Mei Souchong black tea for breakfast and late morning tea. This is one of my most favored black teas where each sip is a delight all through 1000 ml and well worth its relatively high price.
My afternoon tea was Adagio Ali Shan and I gave it the honor to use my antique tea cup. That was not fully reciprocated.

About the same. Had some really good Darjeeling, still searching for that elusive oolong find for 2010.
Pinglin Bao Zhong 2010 from Camellia Sinensis in my cup this morning.
Have a nice day everyone!

Definitely improved! Not only have I tried a bunch of new teas, like Keemun, that I absolutely love, but I also got rid of a bunch with which I wasn't too happy (like the Tulsi tea...not my wisest purchase
).
Lapsang Souchong this morning.

Definitely improved, and I'd like to think they will also keep improving. I've found whole new tea categories, like wulong and pu'erh, plus tasted more new teas that I've drunk in the past two years!

My teas have improved; both in quality and variety.

I said: definitely improved. Wuyi Da Hong Pao (Masters Collection from Adagio) in my cup right now. It's pretty awesome.

About the same...they were slipping when I was running out of oolong but it´s back up now that the sincha arrived
Re: Thursday TeaDay 7/1/10 Mid year exams.
I believe they have improved. Tried both Shincha & FF Darjeeling for the first time this year. Enjoyed both!

Re: Thursday TeaDay 7/1/10 Mid year exams.
It would be pretty hard to improve over the last few years, but since we are talking since the beginning of the year, I can say yes since for a few months there was nary a sencha leaf in the house. So, I can say sure, improved.
Very good TD so far, prelim tasting of Zencha's Takumi followed by Shincha Sencha from Maiko with the Mrs. The SS was quite good for the entry level price tag today, a little more heat perhaps!
Hoping for one more tea ...

Improved for sure!
Last year was great but this year was even better. All the teas I have this year are teas I sampled last year and liked so I know I like them. The small disadvantage to this is that Im not exploring many new teas this year but enjoying my favorites which are mostly yancha.
rou gui in my cup right now!

Constantly improving. I have some teas this year that I never could have gotten a year ago.
Drinking an Earl Gray from a local tea shop, Chakra 4 Herbs. Enjoying it very much.
