Greetings everyone, and welcome to a TeaShirt TeaDay, casual Friday infused with a twist to follow ...
Anyway, stop by and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed how much we drank Japanese teas. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Here is the twist I mentioned. What do you think of a TeaChat TeaShirt design "contest?" This is not the first time a TeaChat TeaShirt was discussed, but I think its time has come! So, what say you, would you buy one?
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Friday TeaDay 7/9/10 TeaShirt TeaDay
I already have too many t-shirts, because there are so many events that include the inevitable t-shirt, and I don't wear them enough lately to wear many out. So....I don't have any TEA-shirts, and could be interested, but only if the design was really clever/cool/classic.
Re: Friday TeaDay 7/9/10 TeaShirt TeaDay
I love a good t-shirt, and I think it's a great idea.
I voted maybe on purchase because that decision would hinge on the quality of the shirt and of the design.

I'd definitely buy it if it wasn't too expensive.

Maybe - might. Would depend on design, quality, and price.
Sampled an awesome assam from Lochan Teas yesterday; Hattialli Golden Lion . A very smooth Second Flush -- did not need any milk or sugar. Delicious.

I think it would be a fun and intreresting idea. The journey will be a lot of fun. So, voted it is a great idea.
"Commercially" it likely would generate some sales...... but overall are the T-Chatter's demographics really the "T" shirt wearing types?
Personally....... I don't tend to wear T shirts..... and I have tons of them from the ceramic side of life and from Japan that already tend to languish in the closet.
best,
.............john

Darjeeling Gopaldhara Wt-7 1st flush 2010 in my cup this morning.
Have a nice day everyone!

Put me down as a maybe as well. It's an interesting idea, but it would have to be something really cool!
Started the day with Yunnan black, then a nice long session of YM Shincha. My classic is almost out - but some YM Supreme is on its way!
Contemplating on what is up next…

Re: Friday TeaDay 7/9/10 TeaShirt TeaDay
I think it has a lot of potential, but I am thinking it cannot simply be a "logo" teashirt, but must speak volumes ... multiple puns intended.
So, it has to convey the message of tea, not simply the name TeaChat, a little edgy or artsy. I am pretty psyched about it, which means I am strongly leaning towards doing it.
Began the TD with a trial of Rishi's Nishi Organic. Quite tasty which I think SweeTea would agree. However Kati and Shincha would not have a clue.

How come SweeTea always agrees, but not the others?Chip wrote: Began the TD with a trial of Rishi's Nishi Organic. Quite tasty which I think SweeTea would agree. However Kati and Shincha would not have a clue.
As for me, I do think it's a cool idea and I might order one.
Started the day with Sencha.

Yes yes yes! - I need one
But as stated here before - it depends on quality and design.
And Chip - when we have a great shirt then the next step is a OTTI-shirt
Started with Matcha Kaze from Den's today. It is decent - I hoped for more.
And after work with the last bits of sunlight I enjoyed my Shincha Oku Yutaka from O-cha. I like it
