Good TeaDay one and all! Please drop into TeaDay and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed what should I do about two broken Kyusu. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. OK, so now what do you think I actually did with those two broken Kyusu from yesterday? First correct guess gets a "prize." So what did I do? Details may win a consolation prize! Pictures and details to come ...
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Voted for "reconstruction" as it seemed a cool way to build community.

Planted flowers in them, maybe? (I don't know anything about repairing kyusus, like if glue would lose integrity because of the water being used for the tea...) Vines of some sort would look cool.
Rose congou this morning.

At the time of this posting you have not yet done much with them. However, you have made the decision to send the pieces to Geekgirl to help further her education in urushi ceramic repair techniques.
best,

I voted 'Extreme effort to save them' although I'm not sure what that effort would be.

My order of my first Japanese black tea, Organic Kagoshima Koucha from Yuuki-Cha arrived yesterday afternoon, as well as an order from Artisinal Cheese of my fav cheeses! I'm in Cheese/Tea heaven!
Also, my "adopted" Guatemalan "son" and two of his daughers came on a short vacation visit and I had a wonderful day with them yesterday.

I don't know what I did, but I can't wait to find out by reading it here!
Great TD so far. Began with Sae Midori tasting from Rishi, then another Sae Midori tasting from the O-C. Interesting comparison of the same varietal shincha. SweeTea was impressed ...

+1 yup, John (and Geek) I'm with you. Practice makes perfect!
Snowbud all day at work, just finished a cup of Oolong #8 - the rest of which is in a thermos to take to a friend's house for dinner. Yum!

I voted ``Time to bury these in the garden, Japanese style'' too.
Enjoyed Hou de's shui xian for breakfast, Jing's Ba Xian with lunch, and and Zencha's Fuji Premium shincha with supper.
