Great news, it is TeaDay! Please share it with us. Stop by and share what is in your cup throughout the day.

Yesterday we discussed price concerns affecting tea buying. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.

Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Congratulations members. You have all been invited to board the good TeaShip TeaChat sailing to TeaNations unnamed. TeaPotLuck, you will be required to bring ONE and ONLY ONE tea to share with all on board. What would it be? Please share the exact tea.

I am looking forward to embarking on this TeaJourney with everyone. Bottoms up, er ... maybe not this TeaDay!!!

REMEMBER, you are asked to share the EXACT TEA you would bring, the exact selection.

Also, if someone picks your selection before you, you have to choose another exact selection!!!

Otherwise, no free trip for you!!!

Have fun, bon voyage.

Tough question. I think I will be bringing a beeng of the 2007 white bud sheng puerh from Norbu, because depending on how it is brewed--temperature, concentration, first or last infusion, it can take on so many guises--smoky, earthy, fruity, sweet--that nearly any tea lover can appreciate at last one of them. And it's really quite forgiving to brew--not a lot of concerns that the good ship might have limited thermometers or brewing vessels or even not the right water.

I'll bring Adagio's caramel rooibos tea, which is delicious both hot and iced (it might get hot on the Good Ship TeaChat lol) and can be enjoyed any time of day. I think most people will be bringing caffeinated teas so the rooibos will help us to sleep better at night after all the partying. :)

I forgot to mention, I'm now having the Adagio Wuyi Ensemble I ordered, and really like it, it actually has a sweet fruity taste to it and it does remind me of a chinese restaurant tea (too early for chinese food lol). I am also going to explore other oolongs too... :)

Tea potluck...what a wonderful idea!
There are really any number of teas I could bring... I'm not even sure what criteria I would use to pick a particular tea... I may have to get back to you on that (which, really, is what I probably would do-- see what everyone else is bringing so I can try to bring something as unique as possible to help create variety).

I've been awake for all of an hour and I've already had three different sorts of tea-- the magic of the wonder that is the signature blends box pass :P

I would bring some sencha with rose petals. It doesn't really have a "brand"-- I just got it at some tiny little store in Chinatown whose name I don't know... It's insanely yummy though.

Rose congou right now. (Wow, I love rose flavored teas! )

I think I would bring Kame Gyokuro from O-Cha. This is really great gyokuro and would certainly raise eyebrows and cause TCers to take a seat lest their knees buckle. And it has been proven to cure motion sickness on cruise ships in lab rats ... Now how much would I need for several thousand TCers?

Began the TD with what could easily have been my choice, Yutaka Midori Supreme, same source. TeaTable visitor SweeTea would agree while Kati and Lili really voted no opinion.

Since our Mod took my first choice, I will choose Yutaka Midori Supreme
a la O-Cha!

Currently in my cup at work on this already unbearably hot and humid Friday, Nishi from Rishi. 8)

Enjoy your Friday TeaDay everyone. TGITDF!

Hahah, thought about that but wouldn't want to share. I'm aquiring a lot of pu, so I'd probably bring whatever my favorite is at the time.

Nilgiri Neela from Tao of Tea. But I'm with Victoria and TwoPynts, I don't know if I'd really want to share!

Would definately bring the 2009 winter ali shan oolong from norbu, my curent favorite.

Starting out the day with alergy soother tea from special teas, woke up kind of stuffy this morning, after that going to try norbu's mao xie.
