Re: Monday TeaDay 8/23/10 TeaRoma Therapy!
It's probably a sign that I need to go to bed when I notice the next day's topic up already, heh.
I could totally go for some tea-scented candles. I've always loved scented candles (and incense, but I've had to give that up since it was making my birds sick, poor dears).
Think I'll go brew a peppermint tisane and attempt to get some sleep.

I don't think I've ever considered any of those, except aroma from a TeaPot, which I enjoy practically every day.
I think today will be White Peony day.

The aroma of the tea as I'm preparing to drink it is most excellent therapy for many distressing things.

I have tea scented candles, tea scented incense, tea scented bath products, tea scented perfume. So most of the above!

That's better. Now I can claim the therapeutic effects from sniffing the dry leaves, wet leaves, and the cup of tea too!
Sniffing more puerh this morning, preparing the thermos for a day at the satellite clinic.

My favorites of these choices are the candles, the incense, a tea bath, soap, potpourri, and the aroma from a teapot. (Especially that last one! The smell of tea that I love relaxes me without fail, no matter what's going on.)
As for "other"... One of my friends gave me a strawberry-flavored blossoming tea. I'm not one for fruit-flavored teas, so I put it in my drawer. Lo and behold, the clothes in that drawer soon smelled like strawberry! I was happy, I loooooove the smell of strawberries.
Rose congou in my cup right now.

I've experienced a tea bath. It was great! I think a tea massage could be quite good for skin, and we luvs a nice, therapeutic massage.
Nay to any incense tho since the recently publicized link to cancer.
Hmmm, potpourri could be nice.
Teance has a tea leaf burner for aroma, quite nice - I was checkin' it out the other day.
Sipping some baochong, also some puerh.
Two-fisted again!
Cheers.

Think body wraps with tea infused "wraps."caplady1225 wrote: what is a tea wrap![]()
Anything tea sounds good to me. I have wanted to do the tea burner for a while, TeaBaths have done that, most of the others I would be willing and able to try.
Began the TD with dwindling shincha, this round was Warashina Supreme. SweeTea partook while Lili and Lil Bit observed ...
Next up, more dribs and drabs of shincha.
And currently in a Ru Kiln Celadon cup ... the last 2 OTTI Round #5 arrived today, a 2006 Yiwu currently from the "shakes" that were left in the wrapper ... waste not, want not!

Re: Monday TeaDay 8/23/10 TeaRoma Therapy!
I have both green and white tea body lotions that smell quite wonderful, although not much like tea!
A tea bath sounds like something interesting, as well as the tea leaf burner.
Not too much tea today, some yunnan black this morning, Hojicha for the afternoon.

I like the idea of the tea scented candles and tea oil massage, especially at the same time.
I'm having a caramel rooibos now, it's almost bedtime for me, nighty night...
