I guess there is always a piece that one really enjoys while having a cup of tea or even after, as tea helps to settle our Qi.
Today I enjoyed listening to Chopin's Funeral March after my evening green tea session, longjing in this case. Interesting balance between the two.

Re: What music do you listen to?
you can convert it to mp3 using this site:
http://www.video2mp3.net/
(mp3 sound may not be the best but very convenient)
I enjoy the Etudes by Cortot, you can find and download a 1933 recording on archive.org:

(other recordings featured on this page)
archive.org is a great site
lots of great classical pieces & opera can be found on youtube, apparently a bunch of amateurs uploading there!

For some reason, much to my wife's exasperation, I never get tired of listening to this album while sipping my greens...
Mizuyo Komiya Lullabye

I haven't gotten into Komiya's other albums... but something about this one just hits the perfect chord.

Re: What music do you listen to?
I listen to many kinds of music depending on my mood!
I´m a DJ and I specialize in Industrial music and EBM but I tend not to listen to them that much when I´m not DJing or preparing for my weekly set.
Lately I´ve been listening to dubstep and ambient/tribal industrial when I´ve just been playing albums to listen to casually...here´s a couple of my recent favourites
Skream - Dutch Flowerz
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYbjen1P1nk
and
Geomatic - White Hole, Dark Soul

I listened to both for about 30 sec, The Skream I didn't like. But Geomatic was ok... for background music.entropyembrace wrote: I´m a DJ and I specialize in Industrial music and EBM but .here´s a couple of my recent favourites

Do you arrange the music at home and just take a
Thumb Drive to work?

30s is just the song intro would be better to listen the whole songnonc_ron wrote:I listened to both for about 30 sec, The Skream I didn't like. I use my laptop with my whole music library in mp3´s...sometimes I pre-arrange a set or parts of a set but when I do that I need to be prepared to throw that out the window and change it around while I´m playing if the listeners aren´t getting into it. Usually I do all of the arranging and mixing while the audience is listening with the exception of a few songs I picked to be my intro. The crowd is not the same every week so having a playlist set in stone is a really bad idea.
Re: What music do you listen to?
MMM....Holla to all the Dragonwell (long jing, lung ching) drinkers....
Some good tea music - Buddha Bar, Putumayo, Ambient Nights, Enhteogenic, Blu tec....hah, A Perfect Circles cover of "What's Going On?"
Just good Tunes in General?
The Gaslight Anthem - This band WILL save Rock N Roll as we know it.
Frank Turner - British Folk Never spoke such truth
