Happy happy happy TeaDay everyone. Welcome to a new TeaDay. Please stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed worst last teas in the world. You can still vote and discuss this rather morbid topic.
Today's teaPoll and discussion topic. So, relief from yesterday's topic. Instead you can choose, your #1 fave tea OR a selection of "OK teas" as the last teas left on earth? What do you choose, your ONE fave tea or VARIETY? Please share. Oh, and please share your fave selection.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up!

Hmmm......if I get my one & only fave tea, do I get enough of it to experiment a bit with roasting, aging, fermenting some of it.....?? And could my starter efforts produce something any better from that very high quality starter material that would surpass the more mediocre variety pack you're offering?
Desicions, decisions, too hard right now!

No limits on the volume, whether you choose your fave or the "OK teas."

Variety.
And by that I took your meaning as a tea variety.
So I picked Japanese greens, all my favs - matcha, shincha, sencha, and gyokuro.
Finishing up some loose shou puerh.

Wow, this was a hard question. I finally decided I'd rather have a REALLY good cup of tea forever, than a life time of medocrity.
Yunnan Gold in my cup this morning. I accidently oversteeped it, letting it run about 6 minutes instead of my usual 3 or 4 minutes. And WOW, It came out GREAT! I think I've seriously been under steeping my black teas.

I've got to go with variety, because while I've found a good number of wonderful teas, I haven't yet had a cup of something and said "yup, this is my favorite, I could drink this every day until I die." On the other hand, I've been doing very well (I think) rotating between the 5 or 6 good teas that I do have for the last 5 months or so, and that's been very nice to switch it up day to day.
Headed out to work, nothing yet. Not sure what it'll be at work.

I'm sticking with one of the best quality. Variety is not worth drinking mediocre tea.
Turzum to start the day. So glad it's Friday, the weekend is near!

+1 for the cocnut water! that stuff is so good!
but back to tea, I would have to say variety! sometimes I am in the mood for a simple green or white tea, other times a complicated chai.... but as long as its tea I love it!!!

Variety for me as well. Still have not set on an absolute favorite since I am still exploring new teas.
Tea for the day Yunnan gold. Not much tea the last few days, I am in one of those funks where caffeine has a bad affect on me.

I have to go with variety. Even if I do have one or two favorite teas, I'm worried that I might tire of them after drinking them for 50 years straight or so.

(The "might" is not facetious, though-- I'm not 100 percent sure that I'd tire of them.)
Rose congou right now, following a lot of iced green tea. I'm trying to numb out an annoying wisdom tooth with a lot of cold food and drink.

I thrive from the variety of tea I have...Though I simply adore my number one favorite, Bombay Chai, everyday I want something different!
Today is a Rooibos with nutty and spicy flavors day. The day before was a Chai day and yesterday was a subtle fruity day.
And there is soooo much more I want to try! I practically rape the tea shops and recently Teavana!

I feel the same way. I'd rather have only one great tea, I would just drink it less frequently so it didn't become ordinary.
