I'm not experiencing any craving for pu-erh, possibly because I've never had any. But I intend to try it sometime. Just not this year.

What I am craving is sencha. And as luck would have it, I do have a tin somewhere.

Love it. I'm at #8 with it. I've basically quit trying "new" teas of the different categories, but still try new Pu-erhs when the opportunity arises.

I've only tasted Pu-erh once and I am convinced I didn't brew it anywhere near correctly. It was dreadful, but I will not let my own ineptness let me draw conclusions of Pu-erh as a whole. Have to try it done right sometime.

But no cravings at this poing

Yunnan Jig in my cup this morning.

There are many puerh out there. Some are real bad, Some are real good. I nearly gave up puerh cause had some bad session, but luckily after tasting better puerh I had a better opinion about it.

But in general, I feel that most lower/average priced puerh is of not 'great' taste. There are many other tea which tasted better of the same price category.

I feel like I need to select multiple choices.

As every once and awhile I really crave young puerh, and want to have at least once a day. But mind you that usually only lasts for a week or two at most, then for quite some time I am content to Have it about once or twice every other week if that.

At this point, no crave factor. However, I have been enjoying the OTTI tasting along with Chip. :D It is a nice diversion from sencha, but I cannot state that I would want it on a daily basis.

Thanks to TIM and Nada for the delightful tea choices for this Pu-erh OTTI. 8)

A very green Darjeeling ala Adagio will be in my cup very shortly. Shared a delish sencha from Den's in a beautiful Hagi wan with the mod this morning before work.

Have a nice day everyone.

Definitely I crave puerh. Sometimes I crave smoky/earthy in general, sometimes I crave the rich sweet power of the type of young sheng in the tasting, sometimes I just want mellow and ripe and easy, sometimes I want something in between. It might be a craving for a specific puerh or ripe puerh or sheng puerh or just puerh. But definitely, I do get puerh cravings. Trying to listen to the puerh craving inside now, to see which one should be the first thermos-full of the day, after the sencha start.

Purple bud. It was the Haiwan purple bud I needed. That was the craving. Whew.

Certainly like it. But crave might be do strong a word. Maybe I will when I drink more of it. :D

Had some V93 and some jasmine pearls last night. This morning is English Breakfast.

Thanks to the OTTI and a generous gift I have quite a few samples of pu-erh in the house. I haven't developed a craving for it - but I am a bit afraid to try more just now. The first time I had a nightmare, and the second time I was up at 3 am and couldn't fall asleep for hours. Coincidence? I'll find out next week - I'll have a string of days when I can nap if necessary and I can do a scientific experiment concerning pu-erh and sleep.
