Hi All,
I am new to this forum.
I bought a teapot from China Town (Chicago).
The craftsmanship is not very good but I love Fang Gu Style.
It similar to sesame clay maybe called Zhi Ma Ni, A dark beige like pot with a grainy feel.
This pot seaps tea through the clay, it sweats. This brings to question why I see my other poats texture is different from inside to out. Aren't zisha pots suppose to be unglazed?
Could I also have a contact for yixing teapt identification, ete, clay seals artists?

Cute little toy. No idea whether if it's the real deal or not. Wait for any of the zisha the gurus to chime in.
By the way in China and Taiwan clay teapots are sold by the dozen, lol. Check this out:

I have been to this market when I was still a newbie to Traditional Chinese culture and can you believe I didn't purchase anything in that place. But the worst this is that they offered me tea gong fu style and I kindly rejected the offer, like a genuine "waiguoren" with fresh ink on the passport.
