Re: Looking for Chawan mid price. Any links?
I just did a search on Cool Japan and came up with 28 of them. They have quite a few varieties with most of them right around your price range. Note: matcha must be spelled "maccha"The wrote:Hi!

It really depends on what you're looking for -- style, shape, colour, etc? I mean, you can find decent chawans for $20, if you know what you're doing.

This is Shoraku Kuro Raku Chawan from Horaido teashop, it is 6500 Y, some shops sell it for 140 $ double priced, it is a classic and very well made, it is really worth the money if you want a traditional raku, I like to keep it simple.

With that budget I´d buy a hagi-yaki chawan from artistic nippon
