Happy TeaDay everyone. Please stop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed "contentment." You can still vote and dicuss yesterday's topic.
Also yesterday, we had a problem with the IM, to the point we had to shut it down last night. Hopefully it will be back up shortly.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Simple, rate your currently open teas on a scale of 1-10 ... share why?!?
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. Bottoms up.

Re: Thursday TeaDay 10/14/10 Rate your OPEN teas?
If I don't absolutely love a tea, I dump it. So, I'm pretty happy with my teas.

7 - Good.

I would like a personal tea (and teaware) buyer.

Pretty good - I've gotten rid of anything I won't drink (though did leave things that my roommate enjoys but I don't), but it's not perfect. Mostly due to the fact that I can't afford the "perfect" teas all the time. I've been going for mostly everyday (read: affordable but tasty) teas, with a couple "special occasion" type (MF Marco Polo, for example), which works well for my current tea consumption.
Thinking Yunnan Noir this morning.

Good.
I have a lot of open teas. A couple on the low end, a few nearly perfect, and quite a number in between. Once I find that "perfect" tea, it may just be all I ever drink again!

Simply beautiful shot Brandon!
Pretty darn good, 8-9. Or maybe I am too easy to please? I really thought I was extremely picky, but I have come to the conclusion that I find the good in virtually every tea I try ... virtually almost.
Currently open teas all really please me, I almost said 10, perfect. But that cannot be, right?
Seems funny NOT having the IM on TC? Yeah ...

Nearly perfect here too. I haven't been searching for inexpensive teas this year, quite the contrary, I've splurged on too many extremely nice teas, so this has been a great TeaYear.
Jing's Tie Luo Han this morning. TG's Suzhou Bilochun for lunch.

poor to mediocre, I always think it's a waste of money to buy good teas, not teawares
Re: Thursday TeaDay 10/14/10 Rate your OPEN teas?
I have a couple staples that I would say are 9.2 for the 'special occasion' or when I have plenty of time to sit and savour
Then I have some 8-8.5's from familiar solid vendors which I really enjoy.
I run to these when a sample gets me depressed.
Then I have some samples ranging 3-7.5 (the ones opened).

Nearly perfect 9. Right now my open teas cross most tea borders with silver needles, fukamushi, lots of wuyi and black but what held me from a 10 is I wish for some fresh da yu ling, mines not really fresh anymore.
