I think today will be a great TeaDay, what do you think? Please stop by TeaDay throughout the day and share what is in your cup.
Yesterday we discussed our satisfaction rating for teas currently open. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. TeaPurchase success or failure. What percentage of your TeaPurchases over the last year have you or are you actually using? YowCha...this one might hurt a little! Please share.
OK...looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone today. Bottoms up, refill, repeat....often.

I said 100%, but I don't want to think about how much I've bought over the last year. If I don't know, I can't lie to my wife.

Re: Friday TeaDay 10/15/10 TeaPurchase success rate?
Over 80 percent. I haven't been experimenting much lately, or that number would be much higher.
Having some nice sencha right now.

I said more than 80%, but there's lots of tea in the cabinet, and some in the refrigerator, that I haven't used yet so the percentage could change. The way that I got the percentage up this high was by giving away the fine japanese greens that I just didn't enjoy enough to drink.

100%. If we buy it we drink it. Something new .....we buy small. And give it a "chance" before not buying it again.

This past year about 80%. I hope to move to 90 - 100% next year.
Started the day with Tea Emporium, next up one of the OTTI oolongs.

Started our day with Adagio's Sencha Premier. LapCats were visibly scarce this morning, while Shincha decided to play in the sink instead of indulging in her normal 'CatTreat' breakfast at the TeaTable!
Currently in my cup, another tea from Adagio.
Wow, it's Friday already!
Have a wonderful TeaDay everyone!

I'd say over 90....wasn't too crazy about the white tea sampler from adagio...the worst was a rose chun mee from upton the only tea ive thrown away, didn't like honey bush apricot....other than that I've been loving my teas.

>80%
I plan on using them all, I just haven't gotten to them yet!

>70%. I did some experimenting with decaf teas and tinctures for night time tea drinking and some were quite a disaster.
Another tasting of 2007 Yong De Zi Yu Ecological Old Tree ripe shu pu erh. It’s quite tasty and no letting up after 7 brews. Still have not decided if this type of tea is something I enjoy enough to buy a full cake, but the tasting has been fun. I will probably stop now though so I can get a couple cups of sencha in before my caffeine cut off time.

Since this is "purchased" and not simply received, pretty close to 100%, I buy what I drink and drink what I buy! Period. Looking around, I can say 100%!!!
The first few years of drinking tea (and no TC back then), this was way lower. TC definitely helps the learning curve tremendously!

Another 100% here. Like John, if I buy it I drink it. Jing's 2009 seasonal DHP with breakfast and Ba Xian with lunch.
