Woo wee welcome to TeaChat. Please do drop in and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday we discussed personal TeaSmart moments which must have been a hard topic for TCers, but you can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic!
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Are you frequently in the "TeaZone" where you can seemingly do no wrong in your brewing and enjoyment of tea? Bonus, are you currently in the TeaZone? Please share.
I am looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone ... see you in the TeaZone.

Woh... yes, and, uh, yes!
A bit of pre-beddy-bye chamomile now.
Cheers.

Yep, pretty much. Except for those times when I get distracted while brewing and have to gulp down entire cups of the purest bitterness. But it's mostly good.
Going to have some White Peony today, I think.

Yes, all the time - I'm usually in the zone.
Started the morning with Black Dragon Pearls from Adagio. Really warming and delicious on this cool damp morning in SoCA.
Caplady, sounds like you just need a timer.

I'm mostly in the zone because I'm mostly brewing things I'm very familiar with. I can brew Darjeeling in my sleep, and often do.

Only occasionally do I lose track of time and overbrew.
Castleton 2nd Flush from Tea Emporium.... mmmm.

Pretty much in the zone and currently am, mainly because I'm brewing familiar teas. When I try new ones, I'm less in the zone.
Black Dragon Pearls this morning. I think Victoria and I are channeling together!

There are often extended periods of time when it seems I can do no wrong and every tea comes out incredible. Perhaps one could argue that I play it safe in my SenchaZone.

Maybe ... so I will have some of OTTI 6 TGY today to test the theory out.
Began the TD with a ... yeah ... tasting of a sencha ... however in the new Hagi SO #12 "Spirit" with the Mrs.

Sencha as my first tea today.... Oh so enjoyable. As for being in the Tea Zone, I am there 90% of the time or more, when I am focused on tea and tea alone its nearly 100% for me, though there are the occasional distracted mind slip ups with tea brewing.
