Re: The Sixth South East Asia Puer Tea Trade Fair 2010
I will have an art exhibition somewhere inside, as well as a speech and brew some sort of old tea. If you're interested, some of the paintings are previewed in the teaware artisans page of this forum.
My talk will be on "The Spirit of Puerh Tea". I plan to discuss the problems Yunnan is facing now, possible solutions as well as Puerh appreciation. I will then have a tea brewing some other day. I haven't chosen the tea yet. I am not much for tea expos, really, but I have been to all of these. They are more intimate and the Chinese book fair held simultaneously makes it fun. I will not be there for the whole fair, however, as I will leave to spend time with my master in his home town for some days.
If any of you are coming, I would love to share some tea. You can email me through:

May your next cup be the one

Took me 1 hour to enter the building. There are 2 other fair running same place and time. Chinese Book Fair and Retirement Fair (if i see correctly). I think this is my first time in a hall full of chinese books. Quite impressive and crowded.
I probably should have not put so high hope for this puer fair. The puer fair is at the corridor outside the book fair hall. I walked 3 rounds didn't find anything that interest me. There are some yixing artist (unknown faces to me) promoting their pots at expensive price tag. The crowd were most likely from the book fair.
Did I get anything? Nope.
Will I purposely go to the fair again? Nope.

I went there the first day and compared to other years this is a bad one.Last years was bad but this is worst.the only good tea is a 2004 Tuocha yiwu sold by Cha No you at RM 12 each. But I already bought it before.Ther friends that went with me bought some. The PWTC fair is worst.
I remember the fair in 2007 in mines. There was no time to see the tea.Was there from 11 to 8 pm and went many rounds to the car park to put my purchased tea in the car.
If you notice, no one is selling Dayi tea.1 shop had the 05 5 peacock at RM 600 a set.In tropicana in June it was RM 300 a set.
