I think Uji still has catching up to do in regards to organics. However Shizuoka does have "height advantage" over Uji ... well, high grown which natually suppresses pests. Kagoshima is likely ahead of Uji in the Organic department as well.Uji wrote:Uji is famous for excellent tea after Shizuoka! Maybe this is Yukkycha?edkrueger wrote:IMO, that tea isn't too great. I would certainly say try it! The cha wang from TS is usually better than the regular grades. Any photos?Nenugal wrote:I'm drinking Lu An Gua Pian from Teaspring. It's my first time tasting this famous tea, and I like it very much. Have anyone tried the Cha Wang version from Teaspring? Is it worth the extra cost?
Likewise ... an all green tea day here as well, shocking I knowAdamMY wrote:Today was a day full of Greens.
First tea of the day was a bowl of Matcha, nearly immediately followed by the new limited edition 7132 Asa sencha at Ocha.
Now I'm finishing the day with a Gyokuro from Hibiki.
