Now open, Hagi SO 13 "Tempest" here:
http://www.teachat.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=14459
I am shooting for exactly 1 month from the posting of the Hagi SO 12 official topic, so hoping to have everything ready by Wednesday 11/10/10. I will as always post a 24 hour advance notice prior to posting the actual official topic for SO 13.
I have seen prelim photos of 2 pieces. This will be the first SO to feature 2 differing styles (though fundamentally similar). I saw one of each and can honestly say they are stunning pieces. I cannot wait to receive the photos for all the pieces in this SO.
As usual, this is a limited and exclusive run. The shape is also an SO exclusive creation.
More to come ... so do not venture to far from your 'puter![/b]

Are they big? Small? Swirly? Angular? Translucent? Thickly draped with glaze? Shiny? Matte? Delicate? Stout? From where in the world will they come?
So many questions, so long to wait....

I'm clueless on all but that question, as its a Hagi SO, I am guessing its making its way from Japan, somewhere around Hagi City.
But Yes Chip would do well in marketing, he has a way of never letting to much info slip out until the release, but he drops subtle hints for a week or more leading up to the "launch date".

A unique shape, eh? Perhaps a double-handled kyuusu? Or perhaps something from the chindōgu family...?

BTW for you international peeps. In the USA, we will be turning our clocks back one hour this Sunday. So, if you have in your head how many hours we are apart so you can be ready at the appointed hour, you will want to recheck so you have the right time come Wednesday.
I am currently shooting for Wednesday November 10th at 6 pm ... adjusted Eastern time. But some things have to occur that are beyond my control. If all goes well, that will likely be the time.

Yeah, I guess I'm out too. I'm going to be on a plane somewhere over northern California.

Well, one of those out of my control things has occurred.
I am 99% certain that I will not have the photos in time for Wednesday topic posting, well I likely won't even have the photos Wednesday.
