Not usually these days.
Usually/typically only matcha then j g, so just the one kyusu.
Very occasionally I go to gaiwan or glass pot for a white late.

Me too. Several, throughout the day.

97° again today, hoping for relief in the 84° range tomorrow.
At least it's been cooling down to the 60's at night.

I often keep the tea leaves in each pot as I change from tea to tea. Then I brew up SLT (soggy leaf tea) at night for a low caffeine tea fix.

But even if this was not the case, I would likely still change pots each time ... tis my nature. I actually change pots more than cups.

Began the TD with a prelim tasting of sencha with the Mrs. brewed up in one of Ian's famous Goodwill kyusu. 5 steeps in, I will set it aside til tonight.

Another cool dreary rainy day here. But Spring is coming ...

I use a larger "western" cermic pot normally for my larger morning sessions and then in the afternoon when it is just me, I use a gaiwan or just brew in my fair cup. :)

Not really. At work i just have an in mug infused that goes perfectly in my Splitfire cup, and at home i tend to go with a gaiwan or ingenuitea if it's just me, or an actual teapot (read: western style) if for two or more.

Snowbud so far at work.

Started the day with DH making me breakfast and a pot of Turzum Darjeeling. Although he is not joining me in tea, still preferring his coffee, he has now learned to make a pot for me in the morning. And oven fresh biscuits were a treat. I look forward to Fridays now; breakfast with DH and a lighter load day at work, and yay! ... the weekend in sight!

Next up: 2009 Lu Shan Oolong from Tea Masters.

Have a nice day everyone!

I usually keep the same pot/gaiwan through out the day, but now that i have a yixing, that will be used for my puerh and I will probably still use a gaiwan for everything else so i may start changing pots throughout the day. If I switch to/from puerh.

Today i actually switched teaware mid-session started out with OTTI tgy #4 in the yixing to test out the pot (this is only the second use). tasted kind of flat so i dumped the leaves into a gaiwan to finish the session, flavor definately imrproved. puerh definately works better in the pot based on yesterdays test.

I usually only use my cast iron because it's the perfect size and it promotes heat throughout the pot evenly.

But sometimes I use a porcelain pot if it's a stronger black, red, or herbal tea.

Started with Honyama sencha from a Kyusu; moved on to Zhangsu Lake oolong from the Kamjove; probably will be onto a gaiwan for gongfu cha later on.

Depends on what I am drinking. 1 Kyusu for japanese green, 1 cast iron for black, and a gaiwan or fake yixings for oolong. If I have more than one variety of tea throughout the day, you can bet I will be using a different pot.

I have another kyusu on the way, so this may effect my pattern.

This morning I had a super steeping of commercial yunnan in the cast iron pot and am now just moments away from a nice YM in the hokujo kyusu. I believe this illustrates my point. I'm sure you are all much better off now knowing this... :D

sometimes yes...I have two Tokoname Kyusu and a glass pot I use fairly often...I´ll switch between them if I have sencha and another tea in the day.

Teaday started with Kiku Mukashi matcha and then I brought a bottle of cold Yunnan gold tips to school with me. Maybe will brew up some sencha in a bit.
