It gets cold in Idaho, VERY cold, got our first snow today... anyway, I'm looking for some help to keep my tea (pot) hot longer. Tea cozy seems like a logical choice...
Anyone know of a place to buy tea cozies that are not so... über-fem?
Thanks-

Having a bear to keep my teapot warm would be a testament to my manliness, however I can see the tea being spilled easily and often, which, sadly, defeats the purpose.
I appreciate your suggestion nonetheless. Cheers.

Ah, now we're getting closer!
I'm just trying to avoid copious amounts of pink, flowers, and frill, (in no particular order) if you know what I mean.

What you need is space age metal insulating fabrics, kind of like
this. Cut it into the shape of a tea cozy, duct tape it together, and then for the coup de grace, take a sharpie and write "Bad Mother F*cker" on it.

My wife made me a killer black square tea cozy out of rug material. It is well designed, works really well, and yes, it's manly. I've been trying to convince her to go into business, no luck so far, maybe i'll show her this thread. I'll try to post a picture of it later

In an online search, I noticed some folks use woolen caps. That might work.
Or there is this...

Or…take up crochet/knitting and make your own! Nothing is manlier than a guy fiber-crafting. The ladies will love you too. For extra manliness, Lion Brand makes a yarn that’s wool plied with stainless steel.

thunderbolt tea has a few elephant and camel tea cozies that don't look overly feminine

Sam Jackson Tea cozy for the win.

Get a carafe or thermos. After my brews have finished, I just pour em out of the pot. It's good cause I can have a rotation going.
I've now got 2 carafes from these guys:
http://www.alficarafes.com/
and their claim for keeping liquids hot or cold for 12 hours is about right.
Sorry, for not dealing with your original request, although you can go here
http://www.customcozies.com/ and have em make something cool.
