This is probably a really dumb question (sorry) but how long can I leave leaves in the pot? If I manage to get through one cup of tea in the morning, it's a bit of a miracle. Even assuming that I take a cup to go, I would want to try and resteep the leaves either that afternoon when I get home or the next morning. How long do they last in the pot?
I have two, I have a yixing and a porcelain (at least, I believe it to be porcelain -- it's a fairly generic pot), if that matters).

Re: Resteeping Genmaicha
Some teas I would try to hold onto for half a day, or possibly over night. Genmaicha on the other hand, I would toss after a few hours, it is cheap, and something about mushy toasted rice sitting around too long does not sound too healthy.
