Preferably dark clay. But will be interested in any nice ceramic.
Any sites worth looking at? I was thinking maybe a taiwan vendor as their clay stuff is usually decent and cheap. Doesnt have to be cheap though.

If you're going for a kind of rustic look (vs. qinghua style or something), you will probably find something better and also save money if you find a bowl that was designed for something else. Any sort of large bowl that has the look you're going for should work.
