Vintage pu-erhs from Generation Tea

by bagua7 » Dec 10th, '10, 05:33

I don't trust these vendor for some reason especially for stuff that is worth a lot of money:

http://www.generationtea.com/store/default.php?cPath=4

For instance:

http://www.generationtea.com/store/prod ... f98120ba8b

Add to chart and the "buggers" don't even bother putting the quantity, lol.

Has anyone bought vintage pu-erh from them ?

The price is too low as well. I'd be wary of it. Just play it safe and buy aged pu on taobao instead (kidding) :P

This tea is said to raise the chi from within the body. You decide.
+1

500$ for one sample? thats some expensive pu-erh and they wrote like 2 sentences about it. Sounds like someone got duped and they are trying to sell off and make a profit.

Haha this site is hilarious...

I'm not anywhere near at all a puerh expert but this quote
This cake is 40+ years old and had lost all the scent of tea. This shows good aging in a good environement.
Isn't that not a good thing?

Not heard them mentioned for a while but I'm sure Mike Petro and Geraldo(Grasshopper) said they were fairly reliable, that's going back a few years over at pu-erh.net
