I'm surprised they hadn't started doing that earlier. Xiaguan's been doing that for years.

I buy Xiaguan's every year. They're just fun to have.

The last I saw of menghai, I had decided that I would only buy the older stuff, 2004 and previous. but I figure getting one of these might not be bad for collecting, given that the spring season is any good.

The idea of getting the zodiac is fun and may worth something in the future.

Assuming that Dayi release a zodiac every year, and by the 13th year, you will have 12 zodiac of 12 different years. By then, I am sure someone will put it up to sell as a complete set at a premium price :)

If I can figure this out... I believe other ppl can figure this out too. So better buy some now eh :) hehe

That's what I've been buying the Xiaguan for. I bought a quite a bit for the year my daughter was born. I will pass them on to her some day.

If I can borrow the thread a bit, does anyone know someone who sells both the Menghai 2007 Golden Pig and 2010 Year of Tiger cakes, I want them for my sons.
