How can you tell about a teapot's profile when it is not obvious. For instance:
Does this one belong to the high or the low-profile category?
Note: pixel peepers won't be very happy with this shot, but hey it was taken with phone cam and not a Nikon D3X.

Looks pretty high fired based on the luster / reflectiveness. Lower fired pot of the same clay would look more dull and have a less glossy texture.

Notice the difference in texture (matte vs gloss) and reflectivity. Even color changes slightly.

Thanks for taking your time to reply, but when I was referring to the pot's profile it was related to its shape. For instance, high mountain oolong tea require pots of this type (high profile) to allow the leaves expand really well in order to release all of their fragance and flavour:
Whereas cliff teas or TGY require a low profile pot as they allow expand the leaves in a unique and specific way:
But I am not 100% sure whether my pot fits in the first or second category.

Based on the photo, I would probably use it for TGY or other rolled oolong.
